Born in 1971, director Luca Guadagnino founded an interior architecture studio based in Milan in 2017. "I've always loved the idea of working in a space that has nothing to do with my work as a director. I like the idea of creating a space for interaction between the person who lives there and the space itself". The official launch of the studio takes place during the Salone del Mobile 2022 with the exhibition "Accanto al Fuoco/By the Fire", which includes creations by the studio itself, such as the puzzle-tables in Iranian red travertine and the undulating fireplace in Ceppo natural stone di Gré with its characteristic grey-blue color (which, Guadagnino underlines, "can only be found in a cave in Italy", and in fact is extracted in Gré, on Lake Iseo). Among the works of the studio there are projects for private homes, such as that of Federico Marchetti, the founder of Yoox, or for commercial spaces, such as for the beauty brand Aesop in London and Rome or for the sustainable fashion brand Redemption, in New York .
