Cristian Visentin (Varese, 1972) graduates in Architecture specializing in Industrial Design at the Politecnico of Milan (supervisor Prof. Arturo Dell'Acqua Bellavitis). In 2001 he gets a master in Industrial Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) in Milan. His job experiences start from hand-made jewellery and then shift to the industrial product in its different aspects. In particular he carries out a stage at the Atelier Bellini (Milan) and afterwards he has the opportunity to develop the concept of different products at the studio Somaini Design (Varese) and at the studio Marco Zanuso jr (Milan). Then he decides to move from the studios to the companies environment, first working in the Research & Development section of Baleri Italia (Bergamo) where he takes care of the relationships between the designers and the suppliers; second, designing appliances in the company Appliances Engineering (Varese).

During the years 2006-2008 he works at the studio IDmilano (Milan), collaborating also with the studio Gabbertas (London) where he spends a brief period. From 2008 he starts with his own studio in Pavia. In the last years he participates to different competitions obtaining some honors. In particular, he is appointed in the competition “Project for a farm tool” (Maniago Design) and wins the second prize in the competition “DAINESE Safety Frame 05: the glasses to wear inside the helmet”.
