Collection: Zalf

Zalf is the acronym for Zavarise, Andreola, Lucchetta and Fanizzi, the four partners who founded the modular furniture company in 1974. Between the end of the 1980s and the beginning of the '90s, the company grew, its factory expanded (from 3,500 square metres to the current 25,000 square metres), and significant investments in technological innovation were made. The introduction of new numerical control machines made it possible to double production volume. Since 1993, Zalf has been part of the Euromobil Group, along with the Euromobil and Désirée brands. The company's modern furnishings, targeting children, young people, singles and young couples, are characterised by their attractive, rigorous and versatile design that fits into domestic contexts of any dimension from the largest to the most intimate. Production is Made-in-Italy in the Maser factory in the province of Treviso, which employs more than eighty people. Over five hundred dealers throughout Italy distribute Zalf furniture.

The Zalf Space Makers project, between design and architecture

The Zalf Space Makers project tackles the idea of generating space through design, proposing furnishing systems that become architectural structures for all kinds of domestic space. The compact multi-functional storage furniture responds to principles of versatility, flexibility and spatial coherence. Versatility means responding to different lifestyles, making it possible to design new ways of using space, from the bedroom to the walk-in wardrobe to passageways to service rooms. Products range from the sliding or full hinged door with an aluminium frame and a textured finish to smooth panels with full-height or recessed handles. Flexibility finds an answer in three wardrobe systems and four walk-in structures that can be combined to meet different storage needs in an almost tailor-made way. Finally, spatial coherence means generating solutions that contain domestic functions flexibly without the need for vertical partitions, deploying back-to-back systems for all modules and uses, made to order in the three dimensions.

Zalf bedroom collections

Schema Libero and Multispazio are two Zalf collections dedicated to children and teens that can be extended and modified over time. It is a family of kids bedroom furniture with a light, suspended design that grows with children. Also part of this system is the LZ bookcase by Marc Sadler, whose various modules can be freely combined to be placed against the wall or positioned in the middle of a room thanks to a back finished in the same material. The Multispazio series of children's furniture was created to multiply and organise space on several levels, optimising efficiency and use.

The practical office by Zalf

The Zalf furniture collection grew in 2016 with the introduction of the Pratico Office system, developed by the brand's research and development department in collaboration with Roberto Gobbo. The modular system of desks, executive tables, storage units and chairs meets different needs of a contemporary workspace that must be functional and comfortable, stimulate creativity and increase concentration. Today's workplace must also encourage interpersonal interactions and harmony to underscore an idea of a world that reacts to change with enthusiasm and energy.
