Collection: Thibault Desombre
Cabinetmaker and Compagnon du Tour de France, Thibault Desombre, impassioned by furniture and design, enrolled at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs, Paris in 1981. On leaving ENSAD, his first products were produced by P. Parent (1983), then Grange (1986), for whom he designed the collection 'Shaker's, his first great commercial success. His star continued to rise as he produced ever more contemporary pieces in fields as diverse as office furniture (Macé, Addform), contracts (Soca Line) and domestic furniture (Ligne Roset, Cinna, Atlantis), and has been the recipient of numerous prizes.
Lecturer and consultant designer to La Redoute for the past Two years, Thibault Desombre is a designer with a clear-cut career path, steering his path irrespective of current trends. He designs furniture with pure, clean lines which he hopes to charge with emotion . His collaborations with Ligne Roset and Cinna have brought him much success, as evidenced by his Finn chair and Mondo and Soho settees.
