Collection: Pinuccio Borgonovo
Pinuccio Borgonovo, born in 1956, is a well-known Italian designer. Active since 1987, he initially worked as a consultant, exploiting his knowledge of materials and production processes acquired during his years of training. His career as a designer started in 1992, marking the beginning of his collaboration with Former, for which he designed an innovative modular system. His association with Former continues today, with successful collections like the Kay system, winner of the Archiproducts Design Award in 2018. In the early 2000s, he contributed to re-launching Pamar, a Brianza-based company specialising in accessories for wardrobes and design handles. In 2001, he began his collaboration with Citterio, which led to a system of sliding doors and walls and office furniture, including the Add collection painted aluminium tables, which won the Compasso d'Oro ADI award in 2005.
As Borgonovo's career grew in importance, he began to work with some of the most prestigious furniture brands, from Flou to Gallotti&Radice, Colico and Natevo. He designed the extraordinary Air office furniture collection for Gallotti&Radice, characterised by lightness and transparency, thanks to the use of crystal. He created the Ski coat stand for the Flou group company Natevo, selected for the 2014 ADI Index. The Bridge Soft system, designed with Paolo Pampanoni for Citterio, was shortlisted for the XXVII edition of the ADI Compasso d'Oro in the Office World category for 2022.
