Collection: Ludovico Diaz De Santillana

After his degree in architecture obtained in Venice, de Santillana immediately dedicated himself to academic teaching. He married Anna Venini, Paolo’s daughter, and then took over the management of “Venini & C.” after the owner’s death. In 1985 he went on to EOS, where he held the same position and designed several important collections. As a business owner, Ludovico de Santillana greatly contributed to spreading the use of glass in architecture by opening up VENINI’s kilns and the secrets of Murano to young American glassmaking artists, with a delicate balance between artistic craftsmanship, design, and industry.
