From a young age, Hugo's passion and ambition propelled him towards a career as either a chef or a designer. While his early attempts at cooking sauces were occasionally lumpy, reminiscent of his first somewhat shaky table, it was his unwavering dedication that pushed him forward. Today, Hugo delights his friends and family with delicious meals while also working as a designer for renowned international brands. Drawing inspiration from the endurance of a salmon swimming thousands of kilometers to spawn and the centuries it takes for a tree to reach maturity, he has taken it upon himself to create beautiful and durable tables and chairs while honoring the incredible ingredients bestowed upon us by Mother Earth.
