Graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan. Student of Giò Ponti, E.N. Rogers, V. Gregotti. Planning and Design with L. Vietti in Porto Cervo. Giovanni Gorgoni de Mogar has always worked as a free-lance professional covering the whole range of architectural applications: town planning, building architecture, interior design, street furniture. Furthermore, he has operated for international organizations, governments, administrations and private clients. Mr. Gorgoni has always had a strong interest in various architectural topics, especially those concerning the culture of architecture and has held conferences in numerous countries, carrying out design plans in Milan, Rome, Madonna di Campiglio, Proto Cervo, Benghazi, Misurata, Tripoli, Gedda, Parigi, Cannes, Le Puy, Lione, Douala, Yaoundé, Londra, New York, Abidjan, Crans, Lomé.
After his initial experiences in the industrial design sector with Stilnovo, Fidenza Vetraia, Turri, and many others, he has dedicated his activity in this field to Roche Bobois of Paris. In 2007 he was awarded a VIA prize by the “Associazione Industrie e Design Francesi” (French Design and Industries Association). Together with the Ronda Group he is now committed in the research of new shaping and commercial possibilities for the application of steel and carbon steel in the sector of valuable contemporary interior decoration.
