Flexstyle S.r.l. born in the 80s from the willing intuition of three young brothers, the Alfano brothers. Their professional training in the upholstery sector began very early. In those years the elder brother, who had not yet reached the age of majority, began
to work in a small artisan shop, but soon also involved the other two. On holidays and after work, the three brothers, for ambition and passion, dedicated themselves to the creation of living rooms, on a small scale. It was 1988 when their foresight led them to found Flexstyle, a company located a short distance from the Monza racetrack.
Over the years the small shop of the three brothers has expanded to become a real company that includes rigorous architectures immersed in the Brianza atmosphere, home of Italian design. Only thanks to this family atmosphere, to which the second generation was recently introduced, can certain professional values be passed on.

Over the years, the Alfano brothers have become great master craftsmen and thanks to the collaboration and precision of the machines have managed to create a refined product with a high quality standard. The game that sees as protagonists the upholstery of the sofas, the seats and the backrests, creates the right combination of material and elegance, lightness and comfort. This combination is able to create unique products that last over time.
The Flexstyle family has a refined and reliable image. Those who try Flexstyle and its product catalog maintain it over time and become attached to it. Precisely for this reason, together with the most modern data storage systems, Flexstyle inserts all its products in a cloud, in order to guarantee a lasting after-sales service. Products that do not follow consumerism, but respect the environment and do not pollute.
Made in Italy
When we talk about Made in Italy quality control becomes an indispensable factor. The Flexstyle product is followed in all its development by careful and expert hands, and in every sector a control is carried out that guarantees the integrity of the product.
We start with the selection of timber coming from reforestation woods, for the realization of the Flexstyle upholstered structures. Then the padding is made of polyurethane foam of different densities (both of the cushions and of the structure), until the soft fiber covering which makes the sofa pleasant even when it is unlined. Finally the dress of the Flexstyle upholstery: this is treated with the same maniacal attention in the details as the tailor does with a formal dress.
Every detail can not be neglected because it is precisely on this that the company focuses. The high degree of aesthetics, with which it is usual to work in Italy, means that the Made in Italy product gets notable recognition also abroad.
High Quality Wood
Great attention is given to the selection of materials; among the most important, that of timber. Wood is what characterizes the structures of the entire collection and confers reliability and durability over time. The supply of this very important raw material takes place in Austria, where strict regulations control quality and above all respect for the environment. In fact, only conifer wood from areas of controlled reforestation is used in our carpentry shop. In these areas for each plant that is processed, another 10 are planted, thus ensuring the environmental regeneration and a constant renewal of the product. Wood, after being subjected to delicate drying techniques, is worked, glued and assembled to give life to the heart of Flexstyle products. The entire production is certified PEFC (wood coming from eco-sustainable plantations) and the use of special glues, complies with the European regulation E1.
High quality Plastic
Rubber is the general definition of everything that makes the wood core of our products stuffed, but also everything that contributes to improving our comfort, from the seat to the headrest, from the footboard to the headboard. To give a more technical definition to the product and differentiate it from the whole rubber world, we need to talk about open cell microcellular foams. The range that makes up these polyurethanes differs mainly from the concentration of material per cubic meter. Daily we go to select material with density between 21 and 75 kg/mc thus ensuring comfort and indeformability that lasts over time. The combination of these materials creates different combinations for each model contributing to build an increasingly varied and complete collection. All in full respect of health and the environment; in fact there are many standards to which our products respond. Examples are Certipur® (Health and Environment) and Oexo-Tex® (Hazardous Substances) which, together with fire retardant products, open new horizons on the national and international markets.
High Quality Feathers
When we talk about padding we refer to the great world of feather and with it to all the different blends that can be obtained to improve the naturalness of this product. In fact, thanks to innovative machines that measure its size and weight, it is evenly distributed inside the cushion. Each cushion has a personalized workmanship, which, depending on the role it has to perform, is equipped with special stitching able to limit the movement of the feathers inside it. In addition, the feather is mixed together with a siliconized hollow polyester fiber able to maintain its characteristics unaltered and keep it soft, light and transpiring over time. A special blend, called Piumafib, is inserted into a breathable cotton lining that prevents feathers from leaking out. The same packaging is used in the seat, which in turn is removable for easier interchangeability and inspection. Our philosophy has led us to a conscious production that boasts of the use of high quality materials. Facilitating the vision of these materials makes us proud of such craftsmanship.
High quality cover
A production that counts almost all of its completely removable products must have a refined soul. This is why a double lining is made for each product, ensuring greater ease of washing. The product, before wearing the final packaging, is covered by a white lining characterized by a subtle softness that makes the sofa pleasant even when unlined. Among the compositional details of the cladding there are some that communicate the quality of the work from the very first glance. Examples of this are the Taglio Vivo stitching, the Punto Cavallo and the Pizzicato stitching, artisan workmanship that only human ability can achieve. The materials are different and only thanks to the most ancient instruments in the world, the hands, are able to calculate the variation. Thanks to the precision of modern mechanization it is possible to produce unique upholstery in the genre; which, combined with what man can do, give life to a product with a different character and a taste of craftsmanship.
High Quality Fabrics and Leather
The upholstery is what makes the upholstery different and unique, but it would not be such without the use of fine, natural, technical and innovative materials. Every year a new collection is presented, full of new products able to affirm the quality of authentic Made in Italy. This collection includes fabrics from selected suppliers able to guarantee, in addition to the high quality standard, also compliance with the European UNI standards.
The exclusive leathers are precious, soft, warm and natural, all of Italian or European origin, carefully selected and treated in full respect of the environment. The different types of materials make it possible to better enhance the craftsmanship of the products, and the different finishes that make each product unique guarantee a high degree of personalization.
