Collection: Eleonore Peduzzi Riva
Eleonore Peduzzi Riva, born in 1939 in Milan, was mainly involved in public and private architecture, but she also left a decisive mark in the field of design as a prominent artist during the 1960s. Her collaborations with a number of companies such as Artemide, Vistosi, and De Sede were important: in fact, among her most famous designs are the three stackable Murano glass ashtrays for Vistosi, from 1960, the Spyros centerpiece for Artemide, also from the same year, and the Vacuna floor lamp for Artemide, from 1968. A true icon, still in production today, is the DS-600 non-stop modular sofa, made for De Sede in 1972, in collaboration with Ueli Berger, Heinz Ulrich and Klaus Vogt. During the 1970s he worked for Vistosi together with the greatest designers, Vico Magistretti, Gae Aulenti and Ettore Sottsass. In 1972 he exhibited at the XXXVI Venice Biennale. Today he lives and works between his hometown and Milan.
