Collection: Dunja Weber

Born in 1973, of Luxembourgish nationality she has graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1998. Since then she has moved to Milan to learn from the Italian savoir-faire. She has gathered experience at Cassina and in the studios of Italian designers Marco Ferreri and Stefano Giovannoni. After having been the right arm of internationally renowned James Irvine for eight years she sets out on her own in 2007. In her own studio she specializes in furniture, industrial and exhibition design and lectures at the Istituto Europeo di Design and at the Politecnico di Milano.

In her work her ambition is to design products which are coherent and essential in every sense. Mission: “Simplicity”. Pursued trough ease of use, clear and simple forms, the most honest material utilization possible while always keeping in mind the production process as well as the end user. Her truly European background leads her to combine Northern essentiality with Mediterranean elegance and craftsmanship. In 2017 she moves back to Luxembourg and enjoys teaching art and sustainability in a border-crossing high school as well as still working on design projects.
