Salvino Caccaro founded the company in the late 1950s in the province of Padua. His dream was to create furniture that could last through the years, combining style, beauty, functionality, and high-quality materials. The company quickly became one of the emblems of Made in Italy excellence throughout the world. It was with the second Caccaro generation that the company made its great leap forward. The company did not only focus on the sleeping area but moved beyond the traditional concept of closet to explore the idea of the storage system itself. While Caccaro was given a more corporate structure, the company was able to maintain constant attention to quality and customization.
