Collection: Antonio Piva
Born in Padua in 1936, Antonio Piva was professor of architectural design at the Milan Polytechnic. In 1975 he was a UNESCO consultant for museums in Venezuela, and in 1984 he was a lecturer at the University of Architecture in Salvador de Bahia. In 1986 he gave a seminar on "Problems of Museum History and Design" in Rio de Janeiro at the Fundaçao Nacional Pro-Memoria under the auspices of UNDP-UNESCO. In 1992-94 he was a lecturer in museum design at the School of Archaeology in Athens. He has collaborated with the Pavilion of Contemporary Art in Milan and the International Design Center in New York on architecture and design exhibitions. He worked with Studio Albini from 1962, until 2000.
