Florian Asche was born on February 22, 1963. After training as an artisan, he completed a three-year apprenticeship in a traditional tailoring workshop in Frankfurt am Main, which he completed as a journeyman tailor. He then completed a general higher education degree in the second course of training. He then studied product design at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London (BA Hons in product design).

In 1995, Florian Asche founded the company "e15 Design- und Distributions GmbH" together with Philipp Mainzer. Initially, he assumed the position of managing director. Together with Philipp Mainzer, he developed the e15 brand identity and ensured the company's commercial establishment. Later, he focused on sales and established a global sales network with key business partners in the industry. In 2006, Florian Asche sold his shares in e15 GmbH to develop a new business concept for the designer furniture market: april furniture.
