The inspiration for Antonella Tesei’s work springs from her conversations with clients and her fundamental respect for place and for nature. This Milanese designer unifies the physical impact of architectural spaces with artfully staged interiors to create environments that marry functionality with elegance, evoking feelings of serenity and well-being. Dr. Tesei devotes considerable attention to ingenious lighting design and the effective use of color, applying her research in innovative variations of natural materials with flawless attention to detail. Her design of furnishings and outdoor spaces, which are integrated into many of her projects, derives from the aim to interpret each aspect of a project with essential conceptual coherence.
Antonella Tesei earned a degree in architecture in 1990 from the Polytechnic University of Milan, after having attended the Polytechnic School of Design. She has realized both residential dwellings and offices, and has projected the recovery of historically and environmentally significant structures in the regions of Lombardy, Sardegna and Tuscany.
