Elisa Catoir studied interior architecture at the ESAG - Penninghen, Paris whilst Michael Catoir studied design at the Folkwang Universität der Künste, Essen. They have been living and working together since 1997.
Having gained professional experience in both France (Elisa at Studios Architecture; Michael at Habitat and Agence Andrée Putman) and Germany (Sieger Design), they joined the agency Matteo Thun and Partners in Italy, where they are respectively project manager and head of the interior architecture department, working on prestigious private residence projects and developing innovative concepts mainly within the hotel industry.
Since 2006 (Elisa) and 2008 (Michael) they have been working for their own agency Studio Catoir, with offices in Paris and Milan, designing made-to-measure interiors for an international clientèle.
