Stefano Larotonda graduated in 2007 at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio with Peter Zumthor.He has worked for Antonio Citterio and Partners (Milan, IT), East Architecture Landscape Urban Design (London,UK) and Arquint Hitz Architekten (Chiasso, CH).In 2009 stars its own practice in the fields of the architectural projects, urban research and design.Participates in national and international competitions receiving the awards “Premio Giovani” of the AccademiaNazionale di San Luca, the firs prize “Ridisegnare Como” and the first price “Riqualificazione della Piazza delle Erbea Vicenza”. He is selected from Casabella for the exhibition “Giovani architetti grattano il cielo”.Alongside the freelance profession he curates exhibition and lectures for public institutions, companies and researchinstitutes. With his friend sculptor Alberto Gianfreda he conduced workshop based on interdisciplinary researchaimed at reading the territory.He collaboretes as teachin assistant at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio for atelier Collomb.He is a member of the cultural department and councillor of Ordine degli Architetti PPC di Como.
