Sonia Pedrazzini is a designer with DNA Mediterranean, she grew up in Capri and subsequently moving to Rome where she graduated in Industrial Design at the ISIA. She has collaborated with the German agency Dieter Bakic Design in Muenchen where she specialized in packaging for the cosmetics industry. In 1996 she opened her own studio in Piacenza and beyond creating products for the market, she dedicates time to more experimental, inquisitive projects, bordering between art, design and communication. She has always accompanied her work as a designer with the activities of freelance journalists, lecturer and coordinator. She has conceived and curated many publishing and educational projects and is involved, both theoretically and practically, in popular and cultural aspects of contemporary society.

From 2001 to 2010 she was founders and editorial director (with Marco Senaldi) of the first packaging culture magazine "Impackt Contenitori e Contenuti", Dativo Editore, Milan.
From 2005 to 2014 she was a member of ADI and BEDA and was part of the Permanent Design Observatory.

In 1998 Sonia conceived the "Le Morandine", a collection inspired by Giorgio Morandi`s still lifes, a project in continuous development, starting with Morandi and going beyond Morandi, which merged, in 2009, into the creation of the eponymous brand. The Morandine have been published in Italy and abroad, exhibited in galleries, museums and in various design contexts such as the editions of the Milan and Berlin Design Weeks.They have been selected by ADI DESIGN INDEX 2013 and included in the book I TALENTI ITALIANI curated by Alba Cappellieri and Matteo Pirola, for the Cologni Foundation, Marsilio Editori, 2020.
