At the same time he began his long and prolific partnership with Georg Jensen Silversmith, while also working on catalogues for many other companies.
He has designed many everyday objects, all based on the idea that everything that we use has to have not only a functional shape, but also to be able to communicate beauty. As architect he designed four buildings and his own house in the outskirts of Fredensborg in 1964. In 1986 he received the Danish States Art Foundation and in 1995 the Design plus of Frankfurt. His designs are now in many museum exhibitions around the world (Museum of Applied art di Copenhagen, Museum of Modern Art di New York e Louisiana Museum di Fredensborg).
