컬렉션: Debonademeo

Founded in 2010 by Dario De Meo and Luca De Bona, Debonademeo Studio is a creative and dynamic office. The Padua-based firm is involved in various fields of design, from architecture to interior design, museography, HORECA, graphics, decoration, staging, events, furniture and lighting. Their eclectic approach reflects the educational and professional backgrounds of the two founders. Dario De Meo was born in 1982 in the province of Venice and trained at the Modigliani art high school in Padua. This context familiarised him with architecture and the arts. In 2003, he enrolled at the Milan Polytechnic, where he graduated in Product Design in 2008. Luca De Bona (born in Belluno in 1979) graduated in Architecture in 2005 at the IUAV in Venice, later specialising in design and museography by attending masters and advanced training courses at the Milan Polytechnic, IED in Florence, the Lighting Academy, and the Ca' Foscari University in Venice. He collaborated with important architecture studios in Venice, Madrid and Milan, working in the entertainment, hospitality, museum design and retail sectors.

The meeting between De Meo and De Bona resulted in intense design activity distinguished by its experimental method and willingness to cross-pollinate mass production with artisan quality. They boast collaborations with international design companies and brands. Their association with Wall&decò is particularly fruitful, producing numerous collections of wallpapers dominated by shapes, signs and colours inspired by architectural space and the natural world, obtained through the graphic elaboration of photographic images.

Collaboration with Karman gave rise to a series of lighting systems, including the Leda suspension lamp (in different variants) and Gonzaga; the ROMA ceiling lamp and the Sibilla suspension lamp, both in plaster; Notredame, a sconce in technical marble; the Nando series of metal suspension and wall lamps. For Medulum, they designed and produced Loggia, a line of fabric armchairs; Prospecto, a wood sideboard and cupboard with hinged doors; Palafitte, a line of walnut tables and open bookcases. For Cizeta, they designed the Tenues armchair and stool (in leather and fabric versions) and for Borzalino, the Ayton family of modular sofas in fabric, upholstered in leather.

In addition to creating architectural projects for public institutions and private clients, designing objects and furniture for Italian and foreign companies, and curating the artistic direction of organisations and companies, they both teach at schools and universities. In 2021, the Hammock armchair produced with Adrenalina was awarded the Archiproducts Design Awards in the furniture category.
