Collection: Porada

Porada was founded in 1968 by Luigi Allievi to produce chairs, an activity he began in 1948. The company was born from his decades-old passion for handcrafting every trunk of solid wood into a unique work of art. Porada soon became synonymous with excellence, quality, and professionalism, continuing the family tradition. The company established a solid and well-defined identity thanks to its woodworking experience. Now guided by Luigi Allievi's sons, the company finds its full expression in creating refined products for residential and contract contexts.

Porada living collections

Porada collections are designed and manufactured according to the highest quality standards to offer furnishing solutions that meet the daily needs of the home, office, and other contract settings. Combining wood with metal, the Iron collection includes sofas, armchairs, tables, chairs, and storage units for the living area, chests for the sleeping area, and accessories for the table and lighting. The Domino EXPO bookcase has a wall or ceiling-mounted metal column with thick canaletta walnut shelves. The Iron collection also includes the Gilda armchair, a solid canaletta walnut structure with a lacquered finish, a removable cover in fabric or leather, and a large and comfortable seat. Eighteen is a versatile and aesthetically appealing collection, studied in every detail. Designed by David Dolcini, the Arena and the modular Argo sofa, with their solid ash or lacquered structures, stand out in any living space. In-depth study of components finds its expression in unique pieces like the Atlante 3 sideboard in ash or canaletta walnut with a marble, wood, or a back-painted etched glass top, and the Vera armchair, with a solid canaletta walnut or lacquered structure, leather backrest and leather or fabric upholstery. Staffan Tollgard designed the round or rectangular Koster coffee tables.

Porada design: elegance and function

The Porada collection includes iconic pieces whose common trait is elegance at the service of function with heightened attention to materials, flexibility, and details. Porada's team of designers has created welcoming objects that grace any context with their strong personalities. The collection includes the sculptural rectangular Pilar MIX or the round Pilar MIX, both dining tables with tops in transparent tempered glass and bases in solid ash with two different finishes, offering movement and dynamism.
The monolithic Mary cabinet is another key product; the bar has two compartments with curved canaletta walnut doors and frosted glass details. The upper one is finished in brushed brass, while the lower one is in wood. Aria is a ceiling or wall-mounted modular bookcase with supporting ash columns. Its customizable composition can be designed with ash or smoked glass shelves, ash drawers and containers, supported by a matt black metal frame. Another Nineteen product is the Ziggy Baldacchino double bed, with a solid ash frame, wood slats and custom upholstery.
